Oh hey, quick update. Since I don't feel like dropping anybody off the roster, I felt that letting the roster run as is would be best. When a three way comes up, we'll deal with it in triangle method.

So lets say we have Contestant A, B and C. A fights B, B fights C, and C fights A. One winner will be chosen from the three to move on. Easy, right? This way you don't have to squash 3+ characters in one entry.

I'm going to close registering, I doubt we'll top off the writer roster as intended.Ok, we'll start on the forth, I look forward to this season!

And further notice, Sergio has agreed to one of Knox's security measures. All nonessential noncombatants(Tag-a-longs) will be equipped with a collar if they are in the tower. So if your character has another person with them in the arena- that person will have a collar. These collars have a deadly device (explosive, poison, implosion,microrobots that eat you alive... take your pick) incorporated in them that will detonate if the tag-a-long interferes in the battle. Tampering with the collars will instantly detonate them. And remember, you are being watching- so trying to be clever with the collar can have you end up with one less head.

I have a wee change in starting time. If we have under 32 contestants in a roster, DHT will start June 4th. This is so the judges can select who will be on the 16 player roster. Keep the characters coming, and if you would like to donate something, please do so! Art, subs, llamas or anything you can think of is fair game.

Heya, Just to clear a little confusion that is going around:

Now I'll still allow people to join, but if a roster doesn't make it to 32, I'll thin the roster down to 16. If you want a good chance at holding a spot, extra things such as fan art or intros shows initiative and a desire to compete.

So yeah, you can still enter. Keep the refs coming and any prize donations are welcomed!

Auditions for this season are ready to be accepted. If you have a character you want to represent, just whip up a character sheet and give us a note. The biggest change from last year is the roster; it is now split. Comic artist lock horns with other comic artists and writers beat the hell out of other writers. We're aiming for a total of 32 contests this time around, but we'll expand if a roster gets enough interest and do some thinning if there are a good amount of people, but not enough to top out a roster. I hope this works out well. If you have any question, just ask.
